Why take all the time, money and sweat to set heavy wooden posts or pour concrete when you only have to drive in the T-posts and install Wedge-LocTM hardware? No pounding parts together either. A corner with diagonal braces will require 3-collars, 3-wedges and 4-60° sockets. Use 7 or 8 foot T-posts for all of your corner and end posts so they get into the ground 2-3' like you would put a wooden post. For horizontal braces use the 90° sockets. We recommend using a diagonal brace coming off of any horizontal brace for strength & stability. People find most of the time that the diagonal braces are really all they need. Bracing styles and combination of styles also has a lot to do with your personal preferences, even though the diagonal braces do the job alone you may like the looks of having a horizontal brace in there too. That's the best thing about Wedge-LocTM, you can build any type of bracing combination you want, it's your fence! Wedge-LocTM Gate Hinges are designed to fit on t-posts for lightweight galvanized panel gates or tubular gates. To hang a 10-12' gate install a brace for a corner. This will give your post the support it needs to swing the longer gate. A walk through gate may be hung from a single diagonal brace. Again, be sure to use a 7 or 8' post. Wedge-LocTM accessories and your imagination can help put together all sorts of things.
